If there's ever a time when I feel as I'm in the future, it is when I go to Tokyo. The Akihabara and Shinjuku neighbourhoods are packed with electronics that you don't even know what's for. And with tall buildings covered in neon lights, you'd swear you're on the set of Blade Runner sometimes. However, Tokyo is so much more. Great food, friendly people, a rich cultural history, and a wild nightlife, Tokyo's got it all. But despite their modern consumer lifestyles, traditions seem to be at the very core of Tokyoites.
