Located in the heights of Boquete, Panama, we find the 5 hectare coffee farm la Milagrosa. Señor Tito Vargas took over his father's farm more than 30 years ago, starting off without any previous knowledge of how to make coffee, nor any machines. The farm was named la Milagrosa, or, the miracle, because many locals did not believe that Sr. Vargas would be able to pull it off. Today, he produces one of the most renowned coffees in Panama, which he exports to the United States and selected countries in Europe. The world famous and highly priced Geisha coffee is just one of the eight types of coffee that Sr. Vargas produces, employing local Ngöbe Buglé Indians to help him collect and process the beans.
